Celebrating 90 Years

Recently, when Corey and I were in North Carolina visiting family, I had the honor to be at my grandfather’s 90th Birthday. It was a sweet day for Pop.  He was surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  It was a day filled with a few of his favorite things…family, eastern North Carolina BBQ, and dessert.

I am twenty-five years old, and I am blessed to have both of my grandfathers in their nineties. I know that is a rare occasion, and I am truly thankful for two amazing grandfathers who have both taught me different things and have both left a legacy on my life.

For Pop, he has taught me the meaning of integrity, the honor of respecting others, and to always WASH my hands(a constant family reminder)!

Lord, I am truly thankful…
