SHOW NOTES

Do you know about the anti-purity movement that’s going against the church-based campaigns of the 1990s that encouraged young people to wait until marriage to have sex? Was the Church wrong in how it handled this message? When should we talk to our kids about sex? To be honest, this is a topic that the church seems to have done a 180 on since the time of the free love movement and sexual revolution of the 60s and 70s. As a parent, this is one of many questions I’m asking as I approach a new stage of life with my kids. And I’ll admit that I don’t have the answer. But today, I’m discussing the root problem of so many issues we see today – from LGBT to pro-life issues, to drag queens and gender ideology – sex outside of marriage and a rejection of the biblical standard for sex.
