Operation Christmas Child

It is that time of year again! I can hardly believe it, but the Christmas season is upon us. This weekend kicked off the Operation Christmas Child season, and my dad spoke to the volunteers at the California processing center.

Every year the volunteers are my favorite part of this wonderful project. I am overwhelmed by their faithfulness to this project and so thankful for them making this possible. It was a great event to thank them for all they do. We had special music guest, personal story from a child who had received a box years ago, special guest, my dad, and food.

Here is a clip of my dad sharing a full-circle story of a girl he met in New Mexico.

The California processing center was ready for volunteers.

My dad with a boy from Rwanda. Alex received a shoebox when he was a young boy after the Rwanda genocide. Alex came to know the Lord and now goes to school in Minnesota. Alex shared his personal story with all the volunteers.

This year Operation Christmas Child will collect their 100th million box, and we truly thank all the volunteers who have made this possible.  It is not too late for you to help or pack a box.  Check here for more information.
