When I was a college senior, I interned with Children’s Heart Project of Samaritan’s Purse. During that time we documented the journey of three children traveling from the deserts of Mongolia to San Antonio, Texas, where they were to receive open-heart surgery.
Each child suffered from a life-threatening heart defect, and the surgery was not offered in their country. As an intern, I worked on bringing these three children and their mothers over to the United States where they could receive proper care. But these children were not a job to me, they quickly became people I loved. And it became a fight. It was a fight for their lives, a fight for faith, and a fight of survival.
This week, Three Hearts, has come out of DVD, and I would like to ask you to join me on my journey with Children’s Heart Project.
