This week Ann Curry covered the continuous war that haunts the people in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan. Curry was led into the dangerous Nuba Mountains by Ryan Boyette, a native of Florida. Boyette moved to the Sudan in 2003 when he went to work for Samaritan’s Purse.

Yesterday, I shared with you that this week, Three Hearts, comes out on DVD. Three Hearts, follows my journey as an intern with Children’s Heart Project while I help bring three children to the United States for life-saving heart surgery.

When I was a college senior, I interned with Children’s Heart Project of Samaritan’s Purse. During that time we documented the journey of three children traveling from the deserts of Mongolia to San Antonio, Texas, where they were to receive open-heart surgery.
