As we’re getting ready to celebrate our nation’s 245th birthday, some Americans hate our country and reject the precious freedoms we enjoy. They think they’ll find a better freedom in socialism, Marxism or some other -ism that’s failed in other countries. They ignore how America has led the fight for freedom both here and around the world.
The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays. It reminds me of the importance of our nation’s freedoms and an even greater freedom—the one Jesus offers us from sin.
This is the last episode of Fearless until August (I’m taking a little hiatus for the summer). My family and I are spending July in Alaska serving with Samaritan’s Purse and its ministry to military couples called Operation Heal Our Patriots. I hope you have a wonderful summer!
