Show Notes

Welcome to FEARLESS! On this episode of Fearless I’m welcoming back one of my favorite pastors, Skip Heitzig, and his wife Lenya. They’ve been family friends for years, and I am so blessed to welcome them to Fearless to talk about how we can stand strong against the cultural giants we’re currently facing with confidence and the grace of God.

The giants that we face in our culture, much like Goliath, can feel overwhelming and impossible to defeat. From the divisiveness in the church to the pandemic related lockdowns, it can be difficult to stand strong for the Gospel. But as people of faith, we are called to be a light to the world.

“Somebody said, ‘Courage is just fear that has said its prayers,’” Skip said. “So, it’s time to harness your fears. Be courageous by getting on your knees and saying, ‘God, what do you want me to do now in light of this?’ ”

Both Skip and Lenya have been a great encouragement to me and my family in so many ways over the years, and so I hope that this episode fills you with hope as you stand strong for the sake of the Gospel.
